About us

Welcome to Korea International Club connects women in Seoul with the world. Our programs combine expert lectures on gender equality, visits to Korea’s historic treasures and active participation in international women’s organizations.

Our club was founded in 2016 to bring together women of all nationalities living in Korea through cultural, social and educational exchange. Dr. Jungsook Kim, a former member of the National Assembly, was elected our first president, and by 2017 we already had 140 members.

Dr. Kim was inducted into the International Council of Women Hall of Fame in 2025 and gave the keynote address at WCI’s 2026 conference in Jakarta.

Our motto is “Lifelong Education – Cornerstone toward Empowerment”, and our tours to historic places are our most popular program.

What we do

  • Expert lectures on gender equality and the UN CSW
  • Visits to historic sites such as Jongmyo Shrine and Naksansa Temple
  • International conferences: ICW, FAWA and WCI
