Welcome to Florida International Club
Naples, Florida, USA
A caring, creative community in Naples since 1986.
About us
Welcome to Florida International Club was founded in 1986 by Marian Adair at the Hilton Hotel on Marco Island, modeled on the Welcome to Washington International Club. Our purpose is “Building Bridges of International Understanding”, and in 2026 we celebrate our 40th anniversary!
Our members come from 48 countries and from across the U.S., and we welcome 15 to 20 new members every year. Monthly luncheons with guest speakers, more than 20 interest groups and our “Beyond Us” volunteer projects keep our calendar full, and our Zoom series “Let’s Go On A Trip Together” connects us with sister clubs around the world. About half of our members were born outside the U.S., and our common language is English.
New members are sponsored by a current member: you come as a guest to one luncheon and one interest group or special event, then apply online when applications open each November.
Every two years our club gives its own Marian Adair Award to a member who has made a special difference.
