About us

Welcome to Colorado International Club is thriving: this year we welcomed more than 25 new members and launched several new programs. There is something for everyone, from art appreciation and walking tours of Denver’s historic homes to gardening, beading, opera and book clubs.

Each March we mark International Women’s Day with speakers who tell the stories of Colorado’s trailblazing women, and our monthly “Just Coffee” meetups and International Cuisine events remain favorites.

Our club was founded in 1978 by Gay Johnson. The WCI International Conference has come to Denver twice, in 1994 and in 2012. We hosted the 2012 conference, and Colorado’s governor proclaimed “Welcome Clubs International Week” for the occasion.

For our 45th anniversary on May 24, 2023, the Colorado Senate recognized “Welcome to Colorado Day”.
